Meet Marnie

Marnie Perkinson (nee Oberer) founded Perky after almost a decade dealing with Post Viral Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Having been a National Aerobics medalist, NZ representative Mountain Runner, and 2hr41min Marathoner with Olympic aspirations, she quickly realised that when you don’t have energy, life becomes a struggle, and the positive, ‘anything’s possible’ person she once knew herself to be, became almost unrecognisable. Marnie utilises her Post Graduate Nutrition Degree, sporting background, and life experience to help you become your most natural, healthy and ‘perky’ self. Join us as we aim to educate and inspire on all things nutrition, exercise and life!

Marnie Perkinson (nee Oberer) founded Perky after almost a decade dealing with Post Viral Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Marnie utilises her Post Graduate Nutrition Degree, sporting background, and life experience when sharing information. She believes that learning never stops, and has realised that sometimes less ‘orthodox’ methods can provide vast benefits. “If there’s research to back something up, thats a bonus, but i’d rather try natural methods that ‘do no harm’ first, and save the pharmaceuticals as a last resort”.  So please join us as we aim to educate and inspire on all things nutrition, exercise, and life, and reignite your most healthy and happy ‘perky’ self.
